The business is a brand new project planned to be based on the Costa Del Sol and will be offering imported new very keenly priced sports boats and sports cruisers for sale to retail customers and for distribution to other dealers. Geographical exclusivity is being negotiated with the manufacturers.
 Click here to see more about this boat This is an opportunity for a partner who would like to participate in a business with a nice lifestyle in the sun or else they can take a back seat remotely if they prefer.   Either way I am offering 40% equity in this business project in return for an investment of at least £150,000 most of which will be structured as a loan to the company with security for the investor of title to the boats. This amount is a minimum to start with but the greater the investment available the better the stock holding would be and the greater the potential profits but sales orders can be taken as advance factory orders. Investors who are able and willing to make more stock investment later as the project grows will be given priority. The business will be offering boats for sale to retail customers as well as to other dealers. Salaries will not be taken out of the business except, when sales revenue is achieved, as commission per sale and fixed overheads will be minimal. The potential profit margins however will be high and will, depending on product, range between £1,000 on a small low priced speedboat and £20,000 (ish) on a cruiser selling between £40,000 to £50,000. About MeI will plan to operate day charter with myself as skipper at the outset to ensure living expenses are covered.I am looking for a partner with a minimum of £150,000 available. At this stage I am looking for a serious investor who is interested in this plan in principle and who would be willing to sit down with me to create the full business plan. I am a mature experienced entrepreneur with many years experience of sales of new executive cars such as Jaguar, Rover (in the old days when Rover were Rovers and the buyers were quite high income people) etc. I also have a marketing qualification issued 18 years ago. A lifetime's experience of motor boating is accompanied by a skippers licence issued in 1993 with recent commercial endorsement, International Certficate of Competence issued by the RYA held since 1995 and VHF marine radio operators licence first issued in 1993. I have been running an Internet business for the last 10 years together with web design skills, experience and existing web hosting facilities therefore would be able to handle all the internet marketing for no outlay. My Internet company has also been involved with importing for the last few years which is where I have gained the importing experience together with the contacts for the deals now available.
